The Scharaschkin Penrose Quilt
I went to grad school with Victor Scharaschkin. In 2008-9, his wife Tanya made him a Penrose quilt, pictured below. (Victor chose colors and made sets of test-templates for the pieces.) But this isn't just any Penrose quilt...
...Tanya pieced and sewed and quilted the entire thing by hand. No machine use at all. Proof (sort of):
