Pictures from the 2023 JMM Knitting Circle

As usual, many people arrived early for the Knitting Circle. Here's a photo from the literal start minute of the event:

Shortly after, more people arrived than there were chairs in the room. We quickly stole a dozen chairs from a nearby empty room. There were at least 65 attendees (at least that's how many appeared on our sign-in sheet)! In addition to JMM participants, local Ravelers and local high-school students (from a class involving math and fiber arts!) joined us.

Above right, Sara Jensen confers with Melinda Koelling (who is behind Sara in this photo) about sequence knitting.

This is an area of the room where we stuffed some additional chairs. Hester Graves and Heather Ames Lewis can be seen at right.

Above, we can finally see Melinda Koelling in the front. Itai Seggev and Jake Wildstrom are chatting, and Elizabeth Wilmer is talking with Susan Goldstine.
Below is the whole room as seen from the end opposite the entrance.

Below, organizers Carolyn and sarah-marie confer while Jeff Suzuki makes bobbin lace.
